IMPORTANT UPDATE : REMEMBRANCE PARADE
SUNDAY 9 NOVEMBER 2025 2PM
Unfortunately for reasons beyond our control we cannot use the usual Remembrance Parade route.
However, we have been working with colleagues from Norfolk County Highways and Borough/County Planning to ensure that the parade can go still go ahead with a slightly amended route.
For those taking part in the parade, please meet at the Market Square at 2pm as usual for a 2.30pm start.
The revised route will turn left at the Clock (instead of right) and continue to Canon Square, then right along Church Rd to the war memorial, where the service will take place as usual.
Please be aware that this route is longer than in previous years and if anyone wishes to forego the parade and walk directly to the war memorial, they are very welcome to do so. (There may be road restrictions in place at the top of Priory Rd/High St South so please ensure you abide by those.)
