#RefillAtHome - championing reusables 💧

We want to keep people engaged with the #RefillRevolution whilst on lockdown, so this Earth Day we’ll be launching #RefillatHome, a social  campaign to champion reusables and getting people thinking         about what they can refill or reuse at home. For the next few weeks and months, we’ll be sharing our top tips, and encouraging influencers and supporters to share their photos and stories of them refilling and reusing at home with the hashtag #RefillAtHome 💧 We’ll also be running a weekly giveaway so get snapping photos of you using your reusables and encourage your networks to do the same!

When: Launching today, Earth Day, and running over the next few weeks and months 🌍

Where: Twitter, Instagram and Facebook 📱

How you can get involved:

  1. Take a photo 📸 of your refillable (bottle/coffee cup/lunchboxes) around your house/garden, anywhere and everywhere you can think of - from simple next to your laptop whilst you work, or out in the garden having a  picnic/BBQ - make them as creative, pretty and ‘instagrammable’ as possible!

  2. Share and post your photos on your social channels TODAY and over the coming weeks. Remember to tag @RefillHQ and use the hashtag #RefillAtHome

  3. Keep an eye on our social channels over the coming weeks and share our posts and              encourage your followers to get involved and share photos of them using their reusables at home using #RefillAtHome!

#TappyHour campaign - celebrating tap water 🍸

We want to help people stay hydrated at home over the coming months and highlight how lucky we are in the UK to have some of the safest, best quality drinking water in the world – from our taps 🚰 To         get people thinking about tap water in new fun ways, we’ll be launching #TappyHour –  a weekly online cocktail party for all the family. This child friendly campaign will connect us all over a 'virtual' drink         to enjoy a delicious water cocktail with water straight from our trusty taps!

When: The first #TappyHour is at 5pm  Friday 24th April. But we encourage you to share the  recipe and assets on your social channels on Thursday 23rd to give your followers time to get creative. You can find the  first recipe for a Lockdown Lime and Mint Mocktail Mojito and assets for social media here.

Where: Instagram, Twitter and Facebook 📱

How you can get involved:

  1. Have a go at making the cocktail (or a creation of your own using tap water) and take a              photo of your #TappyHour cocktail or a video of you making it, landscape ideally and as pretty and              ‘instagrammable’ as possible (think nice glasses/garnish, extra points for using reusable cups/bottles/straws!)

  2. Post them on your Insta/Twitter channels starting 5pm Friday 24th – remember to tag Refill and use #TappyHour. If you’re really snazzy, a boomerang of you cheers-ing your cocktail is even better! 🥂

#TappyHour  will take place every Friday at 5pm, with a new recipe for inspiration shared each Thursday We look forward to seeing you for a virtual 'cheers' on Friday at 5pm! 🥂

Tune into the Story of Plastic 📽️
We’re super excited about Story of Plastic - the new film from the Story of Stuff project which will be premiering on the Discovery Channel on Earth Day TODAY! We’ll be hosting a virtual community screening and we’d love you to join us! Check our social channels for more details and in the meantime, watch the awesome trailer and read up on why if you care about climate change you should         care about plastics.

Save the World For Free this Earth Day! 💚
This year, the goal of the Earth Day Network is to "flood the world with messages of hope, optimism, and above all, action" and we’re going to do just that! To celebrate Earth Day on Wednesday, our founder Natalie Fee is giving away two copies of her fantastic book How to Save the World for Free! Helping you think and live differently, the book is full of hints, tips and small, individual changes which, if we all pull together, can help save our world! Keep your eyes peeled for details of the competition         launching on City to Sea's Instagram channel soon!
