The BCKLWN, have produced a list of criteria for which CIL funding may be used for FY22/23:


Strategic Projects funding over £50,000


• Education related to 18+ employment – post college based education

• Transport – linked to the Lynn Transport Plan

• Environment – green areas linked to the BCKLWN Climate Change Policy


Community and Local Projects funding from £2,000 and up to £50,000


• Education – local initiatives

• Health

• Economic Development

• Community Facilities

• Green Infrastructure

• Open Space and Leisure

• Community Transport


*Funding applications should be based on the amount you wish to borrow, not the overall cost of the project.


How to Apply for Funding


You will be able to apply for CIL funding, by submitting an online application - This link is ‘read only’,until the application start date.


CIL Funding Applications must be submitted within the following timescales:


8am   on the Start Date:

5pm   on the Closing Date:


01   January 2022 - 01   February 2022


01   July 2022 - 01   August 2022

It is recommended that any local/community groups liaise with the Town Council, to ensure that they support their project. 


We will also ask that all local/community groups provide evidence of your Parish Council/Ward Cllr support, as part of the application process.


CIL funding will be paid on completion of the project, as explained within the attached Governance Document.
