St Winnold's Parade

Parade from Paradise Rd car park to the Town Hall
The Town's Annual celebration of it's historic market and the horse fairs of days gone-by.
A parade lead by magnificent shire horses and ponies, followed by local dignitaries, the Borough mace and sword bearers, and children from local schools ends at the Town Hall, where the market is blessed and and a specially written poem is read.
Children bring with them artwork on the theme of the parade and this is on show afterwards in the Town Hall.
