Meetings

Meetings start at 7.00pm (Town Hall Committee meetings commence at 5.30pm) and are held in the Town Council Offices, 15 Paradise Road, Downham Market.

 

(Mini Planning & Environmental Committee meetings will not take place if no planning applications have been received by the Council)

The public are invited to attend all meetings of the Council.

 

If members of the public attend, the chairman will suspend the meeting to allow public participation. Once the meeting is resumed the public is not allowed to take part in any debate.

 

If there is a specific question to be asked, it is recommended that this be forwarded to the Clerk prior to the meeting so all relevant information can be available.

 

Town Council minutes are available for inspection by the public on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between the hours of 10.00 am - 4.00 pm and on Tuesdays from 10.00am - 12.00pm.

  Town Councillors' surgeries

Councillors' surgeries are held on the Town Hall car park on market days from 10.00am to 12 noon. The 2011 dates are as follows:

 

• Saturday, 4th June

• Friday, 1st July

• Saturday, 6th August

• Friday, 2nd September

• Saturday, 1st October

All surgeries are 10.00am – 12 noon.
