2008 Competition
Due to the success
of last years Downham in Bloom front garden competition we are going to do it
all again and we hope more of you will enter this year to make Downham Market
look even more blooming lovely
To enter this
years competition please print and complete the entry form by clicking on either
the PDF version or the Word.doc version below and returning completed form to
the Town Council offices, 15 Paradise Road, Downham Market.

Terms & Conditions
1. The competition is open to all residents of Downham Market
whose front garden is within the area enclosed by the A1122 by-pass, the A10
between the Ryston and Bexwell Roundabouts, the Lynn Road as far as the boundary
sign at the Jet petrol station, and a line drawn to the relief cut-off
channel.
2. The garden must be fully visible from a public road, public
footpath or access road.
3. Prizes will be awarded for each category as follows:
4. There will be an overall winner selected from one of the
above.
5. The judges will inspect the entries sometime in the last 2
weeks of June without prior appointment. The entrant need not be present at
the time of judging.
6. The judges decision is final and binding
7. Photographs taken of the gardens by the organisers may be
used or publicity purposes in the future.
8. Prizes will be presented to the Winners at the Downham
Market & District Horticultural Society annual Summer Show on Saturday 5th
July 2008.
9. The overall winner of this years competition will be
invited to be a judge in next years competition and therefore will be excluded
from the 2009 competition.
